What is UMES?

Universiti Malaya Economics Summit (UMES) aims to provide a beneficial and intellectually stimulating challenge to the participants. Every year, we bring together professional and experienced panels from diverse communities including government, business and civil society to share their insight and broaden participants’ outlooks. UMES offers a platform for the participants to apply theories discussed with prominent speakers through our finely designed agendas which are case studies, sharing sessions and game challenge —— stock market trading challenge. We do believe our event would more or less foster participants’ genuine interest in economics and encourage them to take part in solving economic issues in the future despite their age, gender and occupation.

We hope you will find our event informative and worthy of your time. Looking forward to having you at our coming event.
